Another wet Friday!
Mood:  cheeky
Now Playing: John Williams Olympic Music!!
Yes the USA is doing just fine in the games. I was watching the events last night. Gymnastics won, again, and the swimmers are going well too. I enjoy watching the games. Name another time when the entire world is watching a positive event like this? It is just neat. I was watching the floor exercise when I heard music by ENYA. It was a new song by her. It was really neat. I think she has a new CD out or something. I am looking to see if the piano sheet music is available. I am telling you this will be a hit. I am not sure what team used it though. The USA always seems to be behind the musical times. We get music late. Anyways that is all I am doing today, trying to stay dry and listen to great music!! Peace out!

Week Ending!!
Mood:  not sure
Now Playing: Vocalise by: Sergei Rachmaninoff
I must admit to really liking wind ensemble music. It is just beautiful and amazing! I am currently listening to the Tokyo Kosei Wind Orchestra. It does not get any better than this. They are the number one ensemble in the world. They are just top-notch!! Anyways I remember the song that Bjork sang at the opening ceremonies at the Olympics and I am trying to find it. I want a piano sheet music version of it. I am not a huge fan of hers but the song was good for the purpose it served. The music of the games is always excellent. John Williams and his fanfare is known around the globe. What an accomplishment. Enough with the hype. Time to get searching.

My Blog name is so exciting!!
Mood:  chatty
Now Playing: What a weekend!!
Well the weekend was full of sleep, food, family, olympics, music, and work. I had a busy weekend, in case you could not tell!! I watched the opening ceremonies on Friday night. They were awesome. I watched all 202 countries enter the arena. It was okay. Saturday I worked until 11 30am and then had family reunion. I love the family reunions. It is nice to see everyone. We had excellent weather, but a lower turn out then usual. I ended my weekend by watching Radio last night night. Holy cow what a great movie. Usually you like cry at then end, but this one had you crying like in the middle and stuff. Anyways the music from the film was great. James Horner wrote it. I am looking for the piano sheet music from the film. You have to see the movie and listen to the music.

Hard day of camp!
Mood:  silly
Now Playing: Feelings!!
Well it was the final day of band camp for me. The kids did okay. They have rehearsed better but they are also ahead of years past, so where do you draw the line. :) So tonight I am chilling. I have a friend coming in town and we are going to hang out. I am not sure what we are going to do just yet!! I am excited though. It will be a grand time. So right now I am looking for piano sheet music. I am not sure what for. I felt like finding some music. Oh well I don't know. But that is all folks have a great night!!

Great day at camp!! :)
Mood:  cheeky
Now Playing: John Williams
The kids at camp cannot complain about the weather this year. Today it was breezy and maybe 70 degrees. They have had great weather all three weeks. The music is really improving. Today they ran the show a couple of times, drill and music. It was the first time that I saw the drill. We have lots to clean!! I am making plans to watch the opening ceremony of the olympic games on Friday. The emotion and music of the games always gets me. I am trying to find a book of piano sheet music with music from the games in it. I think there are some neat piano parts that I would like to play. I hope I find it.

Catch Me If You Can
Mood:  a-ok
Now Playing: John Williams Score
I watched a great movie last night, Catch Me If You Can. The music was awesome. John Williams composed it, of course. All great movie scores are usually by him. It was different for Williams though. There was a nice jazz feel. I think most of it was performed by a jazz combo with a clarinet in it. I really liked it. It has been awhile since I really got excited about music in a movie. There has not been any good movies lately with great music!! I am glad that Williams fixed that for me!! I am trying to find piano sheet music from the film. I hope that I can. Most of that music would fit nicely on piano. It would be a nice jazz book, I am sure!! Well time to go rehearse.

Brickyard 400!!
Mood:  cheeky
Now Playing: AC/DC Balls!!
It is time to get racing. Let's go get 'em Boys!! :) The #29 GM Goodwrench Chevrolet is the defending champion of the great Brickyard 400 and he really needs a good finish this weekend. I will be there as they take the green flag!! I love this great sport. The excitement is awesome. I only get this excited when I listen to music. The band finished week two of band camp today. One to go. They are playing their music really well. I am searching for piano sheet music for the show. I want to see if I can find other works by Danielpour, the composer. Well wish me and Kevin Harvick luck this weekend. I am outta here.

Rain is Wet!!
Mood:  crushed out
Now Playing: Dido
Yeah so it was another exciting day in the world of band camp. The group was a mess and so the band rehearsed inside all day!! We thought it was decent out and just when we headed out.. it began to rain again!! :( I guess we were just supposed to stay in. We got a lot of music learned though. The kids did pretty good considering they were in all day. That is a long time. The music is coming along. They will get it. I keep forgetting that this is just band camp. Don't freak out yet. Oh well now I am just listening to the radio. A song by Sting just came on. I really like his music. I am surfing the net looking for a book of piano sheet music by Sting. He is so cool.

A hot day in the band camp world!!
Mood:  don't ask
Now Playing: None
Just chilling on this fine Monday. It was dead dog hot out for band camp today. I can't complain though because last week was so nice. :) The kids played a little down today. I am not sure why. I think it is due to it being Monday and you can't practice over the weekend, right?? Anyways I just left camp and cooled myself off so I thought I would listen to some music. I saw a special on some TV show the other night about the DIDO song, "White Flag", I think. I am a big fan of that song. I am going to try to get piano sheet music of this song. Wish me luck, because mine is kinda down right now!! :) Peace.

Another exciting day!!
Mood:  a-ok
Now Playing: Dire Straits
Nothing new today. It is already Wednesday and the week is half over. Time flies when you are having fun, or just really really busy. Band camp has started and I am running all around the great state of Indiana. Right now I am looking for some bass trombone music. The part of the song by KISS would sound really neat on bass trombone, so that is what I am going to do. I can't seem to find it arranged so I will just have to buy a book of KISS piano sheet music which will be a waste of money, but I really want to put this part on bass trombone. Any KISS fans out there? Help a brother out!! Oh well, I will continue the search.
